Soundtrek is a twenty-page magazine I conceptualized to deliver music news and unique experiences from all over the country and other continents to fans in the United States. The logo combines the letters S and T into a shape that contains the magazine’s name within itself, and the visual element representative of a soundwave ends with an x as if to let the reader know they have reached their musical destination. This particular issue focused on Japan and the J-pop group Perfume’s U.S. tour. Another noteworthy feature within the magazine is an illustrated article on karaoke in Japan. It keeps in line with the themes and topics of the issue while displaying a graphical diversity to the feature spreads.
