Diehard fans are always on board for new or limited-edition merchandise. In the wake of Motion City Soundtrack’s breakup and Justin Courtney Pierre’s new solo career this vinyl record would maintain fan interest by releasing two vintage Justin Pierre songs. Both sides of the record feature a different illustration of Justin as well as the name of the band he made the songs under. The music on this album was early in his career and has a raw, DIY sound, which lead the art’s direction and type’s texture. Stickers depicting the cassette on the vinyl, the band logo, and a third, unique drawing of Justin are held in a slot inside the record to give the entire package just a bit more exclusivity.
