Deer Diary was an experimental run at creating a zine which was taken to the 2017 MoCCA Arts Festival, hosted by the Society of Illustrators in New York City and displayed at a booth. Deer Diary tells a comedic story about an entirely normal town except that one of its residents is an actual, regular deer named Jamie. No one seems to notice and sees her as a person. The black and white was to keep with the realistic selling cost, but stickers of the logo and hoof print were offered in addition. The book also experimented with flip-able action pages inspired by author and illustrator Dave Pilkey.
